A: The target market for EverStory documentaries includes anyone who has a story to tell, which is everyone! We also make tribute videos for those in your life that you want to honor, or films to tell the stories of your ancestors.

A: EverStory documentaries are made by interviewing, gathering photos, archival footage, and other media related to the subject’s life. The film is then edited to include the interviews, photos, archival footage, and other visual elements to bring the story to life.

A: The price of an EverStory documentary is determined based on the amount of work required to create the film, or through the use of packages. Prices may range from $3000 for a 30-minute video to $5000 for a 90-minute video.

A: Biographic documentaries are available in 30-minute and 60-minute lengths. The 30-minute option includes a narrow focus on a few key stories, while the 60-minute option allows for more time to tell additional stories. If you have more stories to share that don’t fit within the allotted time, we offer the option to upgrade or create a pricing structure for extra time.

A: We provide you with a guide at the beginning of your EverStory journey that gives you instructions on how to prepare before film day and what to expect on film day. These instructions include things like what to wear, how to gather your photos and videos, and how to build out your story.

A: We have a story guide of questions built around the Hero’s Journey Story Arc. We want you to be the hero of your own story, and using the Hero’s Journey as a way to frame your life makes you the hero and creates a compelling and beautiful story that will be cherished and remembered for generations to come.

A: We will have two separate days to get the footage for the film. The first day will be the interview questions and will take 3-4 hours with about 30 minutes before and after for setup and cleanup. The second day will happen approximately one week later and will be used for taking footage of family photos and videos, shots around the home, or other footage to help tell the story in the film. The second shoot lasts between 2 and 3 hours.

A: The 30-minute documentary takes 90 hours of editing to finish, while the 90-minute documentary takes 160 hours.  We strive to make high-quality films to preserve your story, so completing the film may take 2-3 months depending on the length of the film.

A: The documentary will be available in a cloud-based version, hosted on a video platform like YouTube or in our own cloud.
